Different Worlds 3
Part of my series "extremes". You can find this motifs everywhere, especially on street and I think they are mostly worth a deeper look to figure out the relations.

holy guacamoly lol... this is just great ! took me some time as well to realize it wasn't ps'ed, which adds to the strength of the shot. It really throws you off balance and plays with your senses/perception as somehow the man seems too small rather than the woman too big. Love it
Klaus Ratzer  Thank you Koen for your enthusiasm and for explaining your emotions.

Great Idea and also great work from you. Very good photo.
Klaus Ratzer  Thank you Günther, it wasn't easy to get the appropriate person into this postion without having a lot of cars between us because the 5th Ave. was between me and the motif.

Yes, the picture is almost shocking. Makes one wonder what is such a large installation doing. Overwhelming reality with its make believe. Very well captured.
Klaus Ratzer  Thank you, Prateek. Yes, this advertisement is really oversized. But I'm sure it will receive the clients it's made for. A new fashion shop will be opened there soon.

Awsome, that is a big wallposter, isn't it?

Took me quite some time figruing out wether it was done in post processing or shot like that.
Klaus Ratzer  Yes, absolutely right. A big wall poster. And as I already stated within a comment below - this photo is not assembled, I shot it as you see it here, just from the other side of the 5th ave in NYC. The main problem was to get an appropriate person in almost this position without one of the hundred cabs between me and the motif :-)
Thanks for your interest.

that man better make way for the grande dame of photography. they say opposites attract, but this relationship only works in a photograph ;-). fine one
Klaus Ratzer  Yes you are right, a virtual relationship ;-)

the little man is about to be stepped on!..;-)) Very cool relationship between the figures. Lovely shot. mal
Klaus Ratzer  She looks if she had mercy on him and let him pass. Indeed also a cool relationship. Thank's for dropping a statement Mal.

ha ha. This is love at second sight (it took me some scrolling to realise the man in front of it)
Also looking forward to more "extremes"

Stephan
Klaus Ratzer  You need to scroll a 750px square? You shouldn't use your mobile for looking at photos like this. But I've to admit - this keeps looking at photos more exiting.

well i was really surprised & yes you are so right but you have to find them & then get the combination just right as well. you certainly achieved this here well done.
Klaus Ratzer  Thanks for your comment. Yes, you are right, it's not always easy to find them. And you have to be fast, often you only have fragments of a second to respond to a certain situation like this because it is taken as seen and not an assembly.
