Thanks Judy - glad you like this one. My daughter had just learned to ride her bike and I took these lying on the tarmac in the playground. I think your right about the blur; if it was sharp I think it might be too specific and descriptive rather than suggestive. Perhaps this way it has wider appeal. Thanks for your comment - the thirty day blur exercise sounds like a good challenge!

I truly learned to appreciate how much blur can do for a photo. In another forum, we each did thirty days of it and each day presented a photo that used blur in some way to intensify or enhance the image. Tack sharp has its place for sure, but something about this really harkens back to the carefree aspect of childhood. The movement and the perspective are really great. I especially like how her hair is caught up in the wind.
