I framed it this way, because this is where every person in the audience is focused on. The way the player stands and holds his boule (made of metal) often indicates whether he will try to target the jack (a smaller ball made of wood) to win the point, or shoot a disturbing boule, priorly well-positioned by the opposing team. ;-)
