Currently listening to the hum of the building's air conditioner.

Nice shot. Will you please describe your treatment of the foreground and the dress in the background...they are dark, but tonally flat, adding no contrast. Was this done to focus attention on the contrast and color of her lips? Just curious.
Calisto  I used tone-curves I made by myself. one of them has a deep purple in the black tone range. that's why it gets this effect :) I cropped after editing. so the editing fits first on the whole crop. the close-up was more a test :)

King Douglas  Thanks for the explanation. The complete picture has a number of elements that contribute greatly to the composition, IMHO, and I prefer it to the tighter crop here, although this photo is appealing and the appeal grows with repeated viewings.

If you cut away 12% in the bottum, the Impact of the picture would be much greater in my Eyes.
