Congratulations Clyde, this is wonderful IMO. Such intensity, looks almost like a volcano eruption.
Have you tried a tighter crop? Might get a little more intense if cropped a nudge at left and top, taking away some of the cooler colors. Not much, just 5-10% or so.
Anyway, stunning image!
Beautiful and dreamy! Love that red tone that glows so intense. It could be dawn, it can also represent doomsday.. That is how intense it is.. However, I prefer the first! Great Clyde!

Really in love with the colors.
Clyde Beamer  Thanks, this is pretty much what it looked like, not exaggerated much if at all.

This one looks like fire coming down the mountains! Beautiful work, Clyde.
Clyde Beamer  Thanks Ursula, this breaks a VERY, VERY long dry spell for me!! Woo Hoo!! This was one amazing sunset. The clouds were roiling over the top of that ridge and moving very fast. Tough to get a good exposure. I tried bracketing, but the clouds moved too fast. This was made from 3 conversions from 1 raw file.
