Judy W  Thank you. I loved the lace curtains, so I just went with the feel of the 1900's house in which she was standing, to create an aged feel.

Wonderful image Judy. She has such a nice soft expression. Great use of the curtain, it really enhances the soft tone in the image. And of course the sepia tone work great in this image, giving a old authentic feeling.
Window light always work ;-) Did you tone down her shadowside on in PP? The shadow does add to the mysterious look of her but I would like to see a little more of her features there. But that's only me... ;-)

Judy W  Thank you so much for your in depth comment. I did not make the shadow more on her face - it looked like that naturally. On my monitor, it isn't too dark but I hear that a lot from other viewers of my work. LOL All the best!!
Thomas Ljungberg  I'll have a new look on my own monitor tonight. I had the same problem about dark pictures. Looked great on my monitor but very dark when printing. Two different medias, yes, but it turned out my monitor was to bright. Have you tried VT's image calibration image he showed at http://www.onexposure.net/forum.php?action=viewtopic&tid=5876&fromunread=0

Judy W  I have Windows Vista and CS3 - I don't see an Adobe Gamma folder. I have searched the web and there are issues with other people trying to find it as well. I can see all but the number 1 on my monitor currently. This is frustrating.
