As a clayshooter i really like this photo. A side by side rifle right in your face. Then i get another message, someone taking a aim at me, and then i belive i see a child behind the gun.. It is a strong photo with the viewers own interpretation, and that to me is exellent photography.

clever editing. with the texture missing on the barrel it really jumps out to you 3D wise.
Also a word of warning to my fellow photographers. When people get aggresive for pointing your camera and lens at them... it's because this is what they really see ;-)

I think this is a great shot where one can read many stories... this image could be used for many things. Like the subtle colors and the editing. The barrel is placed perfectly!

je reviens plusieurs fois sur cette photo, commence à rédiger en Anglais,tres difficile pour moi !!, et puis réalise que vous êtes français ;);) .. tout ça pour dire que quelque chose me contrarie dans cette photo, et voulais vous demander si c'était volontaire: cette grande difference entre le canon, toujours tres dur quand il est pointé sur vous, et en background, un traitement tres "soft", aux couleurs tendres..et je dois dire, que je suis gênée.. vous nous décrivez une situation de violence, de "raptus",de délire paranoiaque, et d'un autre côté, vous jouez la carte de l'esthétique, avec ce traitement .. Alors, l'isolement de ce canon froid et dur, qui ressemble un peu à une grosse paire de jumelle dans le contexte esthetique, un peu en 3D, comme le dit Lars, choisi par vous, j'ai du mal à comprendre..en tout cas bravo pour le traitement quelque soit mon sentiment ;);)

Geoffrey Coussy merci pour ces interrogations. J'avoue ne pas être très a l'aise avec les titres. La paranoïa est plutôt un état et cette action en est la conséquence. Un premier temps, où l'on craint l'étrange, le méconnu, le mal connu, l'inconnu, qui nous oblige a nous défendre avec ce qui nous semble le plus efficace, mais aussi le plus primitif. Une arme à feu, froid, glacial, implacable qui n'obéit qu'a une seule loi. Une fois en main, un sentiment de sécurité s'installe, ou l'outil est défensif et offensif. Un second état intervient celui celui de la domination, et où l'agresser ne voit plus la personne, pour ne visualiser que ce canon qu'il interprète comme droit de vie ou de mort. le titre initial était "Je suis le seigneur ton Dieu", plus approprié, la photo parlant d'elle, mais je souhaitais avec ce titre et le traitement apporter une connotation supplémentaire. Geoffrey Coussy Ce coté "soft" représente ce moment ou la personne est rassurée, confortée par l'arme et ce nouveau sentiment de sécurité, d'appaisement évoqué plus haut. Le canon prenant le relais de l'agressivité. D'ou l'opposition entre les deux. Enfin... j'ai pu aussi me planter! Encore merci pour l'interet porté. :)

Geoffrey Coussy I suppose, that the victim sees only arm, when she is assaulted. The aggressor fades in front of the danger. Only a personal vision, but I takes note of this relevant remark. Thank you :)
