The Journey
We drift, crumble and melt through our lonely life until we are a memory to the few we touched, and nothing to the others.

Great one...what's up with the sky?
Stephane Polteau  Thank you John. If I get your question right, is my answer: high latitudes (like here 75N), the sun light crosses the atmosphere at a high angle, so you dont get the same light as in the mid-latitudes. Plus here the picture was taken at "night". If I would have used a polarizer, the effect would have been even more dramatic.
John Roshka   Thanks for the answer, very detailed.
Stephane Polteau  pleasure!

Wonderful colours and a dramatic cloud effect. It is a dad image - the iceberg looks almost as thought it has been placed there.

Outstanding lines and compo!
Stephane Polteau  Thank you Andrew!
I'm reading a book about Arctic. A group of discoverers were drifting over 1500 KMs on a sea ice for almost 6 months 138 years ago. If they had a camera they could make such beautiful images like this.

they were happy men...
Stephane Polteau  Guess they were strong men too! Polar bears around that could step on their ship...
Thank you Kaveh

wonderful
Kind of a sad image, thousands of years old ice, drifting away and melts.. Like our future i guess if we dont start to think about the environment.. It grabs me i must say. Well composed with natural colours.
