Never feel guilty stealing beauty as long as you are returning it thousand fold to mankind, as you are here, Gerard. This is magnificent. Very moving, The two hands - one tiny, white - the other, larger, dark. Gorgeous portrait AND idea, really.

gerard sexton you are so right laura hence i said almost....your words are so thoughtful & you immediately see the importance in the position of the hands the care & reciprocal trust in a sort of poetic harmony. thank you so much for your comments. i watched this women strolling in deep conversation with an elderly lady around the statue of king louis in the historic park setting of the de place de roi. it was a magical moment.
