The first thing I thought when I saw this was: "Karen Blixen?" :-)

Anyway, very nice shot! You did right by converting it into B&W. Leaving the cherry red coloured could perhaps have made it even better.

About leaving the cherry red: I've heard others say the same - but I really hate partial saturation, so that's a thing I would never do :)

Perhaps she sensed that an accomplished photographer was about to take her picture. A great picture Stefan. Hunting in the streets with a 400mm, you must have strong arms :)

Well, It's not a habit of mine to walk around with my 400mm, but I'm glad I did this time, as I wouldn't have gotten this with a shorter lens.
