Congratulaciones, Ursula, it is a rally wonderful composition, interesting lunes and very good point with the bandos. Having only one color ímproves the power of the composition.

I like the mixture of hard and soft lines here. The handle adds a lot to the final touch, and without it I think it'd been less interesting. It's always nice when you have to stop and think for a while before you understand what it is you're looking at. The colors and contrasts are great. Well seen!
Ursula I Abresch  Thank you very much for your comment!

this is one of the more interesting car details (assumption) I have seen
Ursula I Abresch  Thank you, Daniel. Yes, it's a car detail, made outdoors at a car show.

I just wonder... was it a model car? As a macro it shows to many parts of that car! But I guess it's the wrong category.

But anyhow... my eyes can't find a point to rest. The door knob seams to me a little out of focus. Not quit sharp and that's that point where you lead the eyes with your composition to. But that can be a result of scaling.

In the chrome parts the lights tend to burn. A little correction just there would do a great finish.
Ursula I Abresch  Thank you, Gerhard!

No, it wasn't a model car, it was very much an old car at a car show here in town, in the outdoors (a parking lot). I agree with you that macro is maybe not the right category, but which category would you think would suit it better?

I'm sad you don't find the photo to your liking, but I very much appreciate you looking at it and commenting. To me the handle looks sharp, but I'll take your advise about the chrome parts and think about it.

Thanks!

I like the reflection of the stripes on the car revealing the visual relationship between rigidness and curved organic form.

well seen...excellent!!!...Roads?
Ursula I Abresch  Thank you, lucian. Roads? I don't understand ... are you maybe wondering if the lines are roads, or reflections of roads? If so, no they are not. They are part of the metallic grille (I don't know what those car parts are called), the shiny, silver coloured vent like things that cars have in front, and, older cars, also on their sides.
lucian olteanu  I think you may call it 'roads'!Cheers!!!
Ursula I Abresch  oh, duh! Easy answer, and here I was pulling out my hairs trying to figure out what you meant! :)

"Roads" is good, but my youngest daughter likes "blueness", and "blueness" it will remain. But thanks!

Bien amicalement, Fernand
Ursula I Abresch  Thank you, Fernand. I didn't want the latch to be the main point of this image, but I wanted more to show the play of straight vs. curvey lines, on blue shapes, with the latch being a sort of anchor for reality. Thank you very much for your input though, it's much appreciated.
