Like a painter has washed his set of brushes in a calm and dreamy sea...
I love the color palette, ranging from clearest purple to deepest blue, and the capture of a moment of immense and eternity....

Tracy Martin It is amazing how far from reality this shot really is though, having been there I know how untamed the ocean is at this spot but it is also that wildness that contributed to the serene nature of the image. :)

Tracy Martin The ocean is always a healing place for me, but most of the areas within walking distance are not very calm. This image was a product of not having enough light to shoot creating a much calmer effect than the actual scene. Thank you Elisabeth.

Subtle but apparently important changes! I like it better - the slightly more vibrant colours and narrowing of the band of beach do make it a better shot. Very zen. Congrats.

Tracy Martin Thanks Craig, it was actually quite hard to get the colors just right and I had to do several tests first but in the end I was really happy with it.

I think the higher contrast and cropping down that lower dark portion is definitely an improvement over the first version. You worked the recommendations well.
