Yes, very sharp and contrasty. The 18-55 as well as 28-80 both are very sharp and contrasty provided one uses them within their limitations.

Beautiful picture, Ralf! And what a bokeh! I used to own a Nikon F80 with the same lens, and this cheap 28-80mm is actually a nice small peace of glass. Very sharp.

Ralf Stelander Yeah, it's better than you might expect! Some of the cheap Nikorrs are outstanding, the 18-55 is really good too. I really like the green color in the bokeh in this shot. Anyway, thanks for the nice compliment!
