I love the point of view, Angela, and the strong choice about composition. The wet hands are the small detail that tips this shot from 'very good' to 'great'!

Oh dear, there goes a fin :-(

wonderfull photograph Angela. the astonishment of childhood really shines through. One can not see the boy's eyes, but it isn't hard to tell that they are full of concentration, curiosity and childlike amazement.
Love the sharpness and the dof. A bit more space at the bottom might have been a tad better (want to see that drop hanging from his right - as looking - hand) but it's nothing that makes a big difference.
Angela Bacon-Kidwell  Koen, I wish the drop was there too! Made me so mad it was not. :) Thank you very much.
Koen Pieters  naughty drop !

My those hands are wet. This may be the wettest photograph I've ever seen. Is he past the "everything I can hold in my hands goes in my mouth" stage? Nice chiaroscuro, nice tones.

This is terrific. Did you rescue the pitiful, helpless little fish?
Angela Bacon-Kidwell  You are strange today-no? lol
Yes, he is past that stage!!!!!!!! And the fish is fine. Thank you! :))))))))
This is just fabulous!
