I love pictures that are little stories in of themselves. Great expression, the whole scene makes me wonder what happens next! The empty room really adds to the atmosphere. Awesome!

Wow I love this! the only thing I don't like is the very obvious line above the papers where your Gaussian blur stops. Should have feathered it a little better but that's just knit picking. Great idea and picture!

In the airline business, we expect this scene at least once a week: the company has gone bankrupt, our furniture has been removed and someone will be dropping by shortly to tell us that our jobs have been eliminated. I think I'll take Tuesday off.

Ilja, I'm so impressed with the way you keep procucing these images with so strong emotions/feelings/stories from our everyday life. You have a way to make your evidently stages shots still come through in such a good way. As always the lighting, composition, etc is flawless and your "acting" is top-notch. I can so relate to this! And that is what so great with your images. You describe emotions almost everybody can relate to.
Congratulations ones more! And this is not BS... ;-)

Ilja, I LOVE this. You will make quite a name for yourself in the photography world....mark my words ;)

My favorite part about this image is the way you are standing. You look like you're debating with yourself if you should even pick up the papers you dropped. Also, the perspective makes you seem very large and your office too small for you...which would help add a deliciously anxious feel to the overall image.

You nailed it.
