If you always worry him! If you melting down when he touch you! If the most topic you have is he! If you feel anger when he not reply as you wish! If you suffer when he not call! If you feel jealous when he go out with friends! If you feel lonesome and hurt when he is not beside you! If you feel understand wrong from him all time! If you not wane let him go when he want! If you feel happiness and anger and hurt at the same time than yes it is love! But at least the answer you only can give your self!
Anyway I wish you can feel only the good side of love!

But I am hypnotized about the beauty of your image. About how the etheral light creates a vision af an angel sleeping. What is in her mind? What do angels dream about? Do they dream at all? They live all their dreams... Dont they...? Dreams of love? Truly...

This is so sensual - I just love this piece. Everything accompanies the mood in this image amd this just states for me, that you put a lot of feelings in your work. After haven taken a look in your marvelous portofolio I figure you know the answer to the question best for yourselv ;)..., at least it must have been a "with love made" picture.

Another amazing Daria self-portrait.

I thought about this photo on my long drive to work this morning. I hope you don't mind my asking a couple of question out of curiosity, considering the constraints under which you work.

You much use a self timer of some sort unless your partner (I plead ignorance on this point), clicks the shutter for you. Also, it would be difficult to create such a self portrait unless your partner or another collarborator arranged your hair.

The lighting for this rather high-key image is very flat--which is not a bad thing in a soft, color image such as this. I trying to imagine how this was set up. Whether you intentionally placed yourself next to a white wall or arranged some kind of reflector very close to yourself. I wonder if you placed th camera in the window and created a backdrop and arranged it such that you were not lying down completely, but were only partially reclined.

But maybe I am taking this beautiful image too literally. I like to know how things were accomplished.

Will try my best to explain my crazy schemes and devices :)

So, my bedroom is all white and every wall or wardrobe or ceiling works as a reflection. On this shot I lie on the floor, the light comes from the window on the left. On the right I have white door, and behing my back white wardrobe door. The camera is on a tripod, sticking out of the wardrobe some 1,4 m above me (and that's why I use wide angle, because it's pretty tough to get all of me in the frame when shooting with 50 mm). It happens like this: I press on the button and have 10 seconds to lie on the floor in an acceptable position. I won't lie to you - it's hell of a job, and usually I take around 100 shots.. or until I get the one I like :).

I must confess I cheated a bit with the hair - I closed a couple of gaps with the hair from the other image. And I finished it in Corel Painter (the original is not that much of a high key).

I hope it makes sense :)

King Douglas Your explanation makes your accomplishment greater. I understand working through many attempts to get exactly what you want. Too bad you don't have a remote (electronic) shutter release.
I also have worked in very tight spaces with a wide angle lens to get my entire subject into the frame. My first published OE photo is one such example.

Daria Endresen As I've said to Peter, I am about to buy me a wireless remote - my guess is that it would save me some time and effort. When I know I have 10 sec only, I get nervous and can't relax, so it's even more difficult to get a decent shot.. with the remote this problem should be solved :)

Anna Lepke I bought a remote about a have year ago. It was worth every penny!You save so much time. And it's much easier to get the right expression, right position. (But still it takes a lot of shots.) Considering the time pressure you where under I think it's even more amazing that you have this expression on your face. You deserve an Oscar. :-D

I got my salary today so will place the order right after the dinner - can't wait to get this remote. It took me a long time to find one too - canon produces only one wireless remote for 20D, and it's like a small camera itself with lots of functions and stuff; needless to say the price is terrible.. But luckily I dug up another brand on amazon, and hopefully it will work alright :))

Anna Lepke Strange, I bought one for my Nikon and it cost just a little over 300,- nkr. It's a tiny thing with a button, that's it. I'm curious what kind of function yours offers.

Daria Endresen Yeah, Nicon remotes are cheap. For other canon models these are cheap as well, and of course with my luck (and my 20D) they had to make something special.. I could buy a usual remote with a cord, but since the max lenght is 80 cm, it doesn't really save my day. And that expencive wireless I was talking about - well, you can tune with it basically everything, from exposure to modes, etc - while I needed just as you say, a tiny thing with a button :)
Anyways, I'm glad I found another brand - surely it will help me a lot :)
