I am blown away by your animal images, they are completely stunning! And you can feel the love and respect you have for them, I am not surprised at all to learn that you are involved in conservation work!
I'm also very curious about the lighting used in your gorilla shots.

Natalie Manuel Thanks very much Alexandre. My intention is really to make it irrelevant where the photos were taken, because the portrait/shot is about the individual animal, not how hard it was for me to take it :)
Re the lighting - always late afternoon for this particular enclosure, as the sun bounces off the opposite wall and I get a nice glow :)

I don't have any problem with zoo shots, personally, and have taken a fair few myself (though of course not nearly as good as yours). I have a problem with zoos themselves, but that's another story entirely...
