Hi Codrin.

I've just discovered this site, but have been in visiting a few times the last past two days, and this image of yours stops me dead in my tracks each time. I can't do anything else on the site before I have had a few minutes with you picture. It's so raw and honest, genuine in its simplicity. The fear portrayed through the eye, a tiny piece of the whole, is captivating to say the least. The roughness and graphical quality of it emphasizes this feeling I get that she is really afraid, either of braking out from behind the wall or afraid of what's she's looking at. So afraid that she has almost become part of the wall. I am an amateur so take my opinions for what they're worth with that in mind, but I believe that you have created something really good here. Congratulations.

You have a special way of seeing interesting details in envery day life. I guess i had keept walking if i saw this, or i hadn´t seen it! And i would miss out on a great piece of art, a small interesting detail in the big world..

The right part of the wall is so strange, as machine-gunned. This subjective detail adds a certain confusion in my perception of the photograph. Very strong.

Things are changing very fast these days :-(. For example the slides from my '...face to face...' picture exist no more (I know the big one from my childhood), to not talk about many trees, benches and other things...lot of changes, but sadly not all in the right direction. Well, of course from my point of view. Many thanks Laurence!

I think that this is definitely an image that would benefit from hanging on a wall at it's original resolution over looking at it on screen, as I find myself wanting to step back when I look at it. Really nice work Codrin. :)

I've been looking at the image for a while now and the more I look the more I see. I have metaphor thoughts of, is the face hiding while viewing the world or destroyed because of it, very thoughtful image, I like the gritty production to. mal

How very strange and oddly one-dimensional. I like the way you think. I like this composition, too, although I think you could trim a bit off the bottom to good effect.
