I think I remember this from your book if I'm not mistaken, I see why you chose it!

Vernon Trent Ralf, the one in the "twelve shots" book is different. "wilder" than this one :-)

Ralf Stelander I've now compared them side to side, you're right the twelve shots version is more nude than this one! =)

I love the tones! would it be too pushy to ask how you managed to create this special toning? I'll understand if you want to keep it a secret ;)..

Vernon Trent Daria, this "special" toning had become my "brand" during the last two years.
The process is quite complex, needs a bit of time and is on every image different. There is no "standard" workflow for it. Maybe one day I take the time and show how it works :)

the shot itself has been converted to B&W and then I did my "special" toning. then added a "deep" blue as replacement for "deep" black.

Given the magnification I would say a macro lens, but don't know any that open up to f/1.2. Just curious...
