ingenuity is a creative talent even if the hubby was unaware. bravo for the idea bravo for the result. i took a shot of two people in the rain that had it have been straight definitely would have not made it past the trash bin. in my haste & poor iso/aperture selection the image was a blur but hey what a blur!
Angela Bacon-Kidwell  Thank you! This was messy and I have yet to get the same results. Thanks
Thank you for the visit and comments. This photo is a straight photo-no effects. I don't use filters or effects in my images. Everything is photographic elements in the creative edit work. no overlays etc. This was done in camera. I tell how at the bottom of the cage. Thank you. Art is sometimes about restraint. NO?

Angela hi,

First of thanks for your visit and the comment was much appreciated.

I like this particular image a lot. Even as a straight-forward photo it would make an impact. I see you work to a certain extent with effects, and find them subtle enough to appreciate them. You have the knack of not overdoing it.

Well done.

PS I was actually in Abilene Kansas for a couple of days, spent both night in a local jail. I was with a friend and we got into some local trouble! lol...We were very young and the sheriff's wife came to the jail to bring me home-cooked food every day. Luckily, being minors we were apart from the more toughened up crowd. In fact the sheriff was always shaking his head and joking about us. The scariest moment was when, two days later my dad came walking through the door to bring me home.

FAscinating, I like the image for itself, but I'm also intrigued by your technique. First time I have heard of a car windscreen used as a lense, what f stop is it, and I hope you don't shoot wide open :-) COngratulations
Angela Bacon-Kidwell  Oh! come one you don't go to carwashes? lol. 4.5 and thanks for the comment.

Please Angela don't write how you're getting your images, do it just for screeners, please! Anyway it is an amazing image, again, your magical visions in action! Just amazing, I love it!
all the best

Angela Bacon-Kidwell  Why? you seem mad. People seem to want to know everything about how you did this or that so I thought I was doing what everyone wants. Come to think of it- that's not like me! Thanks.
Codrin Lupei  Well, probably I'm mad :-(, I was never curious how very exactly something that I love was made, probably it's just that I'm more about the dreaming side of the life that about the more technical one :-(. Never, when something has touched me in a way or another, I'm not thinking about the tool or the technique that created it, I just enjoy it, I just live it. I'm sorry, I was just saying that for me it's not important at all how it was made, but that's just me :-(.
all the best
Codrin
Angela Bacon-Kidwell  So, you are mad? I'm confused. I must be really sensitive today. I get what you are saying and feel the same. Thanks!

Angela, this is such a nice image, very moody. No matter how it was taken...
I just can't figure out how you came up with the idea...

-Hm, today I'm going to try something new... Why not take picuters in a... carwash. Yeah, that would be cool...

I'd like to have just a nudge of that creativity!
/Thomas
Angela Bacon-Kidwell  lol! It was all taken in the car wash. I live in a pretty boring, flat small town- Got to have an imagination-if you know what I mean. Thanks!-I only tried this 3 times before I got something that resembled something!! Really.
