Beautiful! I know I use that word a lot, but this one really does look beautiful. You made the snow covered branches look almost like the ocean. This is really lovely.
Mal Smart  cheers Ursula, the funny thing was that I nearly didn't stay around long enough to get this one. I was smearing vaseline on the filter over and over again to get it right and my fingers were so cold and clumsy. All the very best. mal

Wow, great affect Mal! It creates a very nice mood. First I thought it was some kind of fractal-filter in PS...
/Thomas
Mal Smart  cheers Thomas. I was quite pleased with this result, yes the blurring looks like a PS addition and some even commented in screening about the "over" editing, which did amuse me. all the best. mal

Mal, my first thought was that you had applied a toned down fractal filter to part of this image. It doesn't seem your style to use such tools, but you never know! :) This has a beauty that sneaks up on me....and I LOVE the subtle greens :))))))
Mal Smart  frozen greens, kept in the freezer, not as healthy as fresh, lol. cheers Emily. mal

Mal Smart  confession time Willy, yes it's vaseline but it took me about 20 attempts to get the right amount on the filter, lol. cheers mal
the wonders of vaseline on a filtre - lovely image Mal - I can almost feel the texture coming out of the screen
Mal Smart  I was rather pleased that a number of people in screening thought it was over edited, that made me smile. cheers Serban. mal
