Only a true poet could adequately describe this image. I'm reminded of the last lines of Edith Sitwell's "By the Lake"
"...And as they walk, they seem tall pagodas;
And all the ropes let down from the cloud
Ring the hard cold bell-buds upon the trees--codas
Of overtones, ecstasies, grown for love's shroud."

Angela, such surreal and so beautiful - thanks for the description, I was going to ask how was made. and the idea of the circles which are so enigmatic, like the lady (by the way, was she a model or friend or you...)

Angela Bacon-Kidwell Serban, Thanks for the comment. I loved those circle too! The model was me and thank goodness it was a long exposure because that dress (my wedding dress from 2000) does not quite button like it used to. :)

True art! Love the tones, the softness of the scene. The birdcage adds a funky spice to the image. I also love the scence of ealy 1900, due to the light and sepia tone. Great work!

It remind me some readind I did lately about time-space relationship and its use in photography... (it looks pompous but as a photographer, I trie not to limit myself to what is in front of my eyes...)
But your subject is completly different of what was illustrated and it has more a sense of romanticism in it.
