I'm a photographer myself..A Nature Photographer. The last time i made protraits was when i was sudying ar the academy of art in Montreal. I found the onexposure site when browsing with stumble Upon. The little girl face kind off seriously catch my eye. I just want to congratulate you for a great picture. It is not a little girl picture... at least not in my view. This picture convey calm, a bit of sadness, some resignation in face of an unknown adversity, and some beautiful eyes. When i see that picture, i feel what the little girl feel....That a sign of a good photographic transmission, and a sign of a great work of art. Thanks, Claude Lacasse, Quebec, Canada.

Em, I have never got around to comment this image, sorry...

Love the crop and composition and that touch of color from her shirt. Those eyes, there is something about them. Her expression is honest, as if she has totally lowered her "guard", saying "this is me...". I guess it's the slightly raised eyebrowes that does this...

How did you get the hair like that? Is she lying down? Or did you use your hairblower ;-)

Powerful image. I really do love photography and it's ability to introduce you to people you don't know. A well taken portrait is a view into someones being. I don't get that feeling from many portraits I see. Most are very blah with little or no emotion.

This one is different. It's personal, emotional and very enlightening. It's like looking at an image of someone I've known for a long time. Very special photograph. Bravo.
