We must have been writing at the same time.

Yes I am a bit of a Bobby Darin fan but don't know his version of this song, I will have to look out for it. I had another version in my head, a female vocalist, don't know who, something from my childhood.

I do also love the lyrics of this song, well many of the songs from that era, they sure knew how to write them back then. :-)

Emily Bem Well, that was WEIRD. Ha ha!

I vaguely remeber a female singer doing this song. My dad used to play Bobby when I was a kid ( still does actually ), so that was where the interest came from.
