S J Carter  Thanks Allan. I VERY slowly crept up on these deer at Big Meadow (part of Shenandoah National Park in VA), and it seemed that they weren't as unaccustomed to human presence as I thought. Granted, I couldn't go up and touch them, but they didn't spook as easily as they do around home.
