I would definitely not crop out the shadow, it corresponds perfectly to the diagonal lines in the skies to create symmetry and harmony in the picture!

Thanks guys! The jump was sort of a stepup/gap. I sat with the stepup against my back and tried to be as small as possible as Andreas flew several meters above my head :) The Lens i used was the 12-24 DX Nikon, i think it was set at the wider focal length.. Didn´t crop much at all actually, someone suggested to crop away the shadow in the bottom, but I felt it ruined the balance of the picture. /J

Great shot! I wouldn't change a thing. Clean and simple, perfect composition.
Questions: Did you crop the image a lot? What focal length did you use?
