I did think that the results of this project demonstrates what we often speak of here in the forums or in critique - which is that some photos do work better in b/w and others are destined for color. However, my guess is that the opinions  as to  which get the b/w and which get the color will vary widely among people here. 

I would also imagine  that those who do not have photography as a hobby or profession will be more open to the changes. If they are young - say teens or early 20's they would probably be amazed that pictures were made in black and white at all.
