Hi,

Last Tuesday I uploaded a new Photo and tried to get it in the Critique section.
-I filled in the first form (title, date, etc)
-pressed the ‘post for critique’ button
-filled in the stuff on the next screen, description > 100 characts, etc.
-and pushed the upload button there.
- a new screen gave a message sort of ‘uploaded in critique’ (can't remember exact text).

Unfortunately it doesn’t show there…
24 hours later I tried again, same result, it simply won’t show up.
I can’t think of what I did wrong… :-(

The photo is new, I did not save it for screening, (I only want some feedback on it in the critique section and tried to post it there).

A few questions:
-what am I doing wrong?
-Is there a queue (in the critique section)? And if so how long does it take normally? (can it take > 3days?)
-is there a moderator deciding what can be posted in the critique section and what not? And if so, I expected a site email (no such thing).
-anybody else having trouble uploading to the critique section?

I use firefox v3.5, all seems to work, except the critique upload.
I thought about trying it again with IE but I run out of points (in my case it seems to be giving only ;-)

I'm not sure Bjorn - there is a queue in Critique (or I presume so) but a delay of 24 hours doesn't look OK to me. Maybe you should ask Kevin or the crew directly in an OEmail.

Bjorn - all critiques must be approved by the moderators. However, it appears that you are trying to post a picture into critique directly, before it has been screened. As a standard member, you do not have the ability to post directly to critique - it must go through screening first. Please take a look at the "About" page for any and all information about the way 1x operates. Hope that helps!

The point was that, i don't think the picture is good enough for 1x (yet) so i didn't want to waste the screeners/members time on screening.
But I do appreciate feedback...
Perhaps a new feature to remove the 'posting for critique' for unscreened & standard members ;-)

anyway, i"ll post it for screening ;-)

Bjorn, my advice is,, just try your luck in screening,, photography is very subjective, maybe who knows on what's the mood of the screeners ;-),, cheers
