Couple of CNN travel photos of the day

Recently, my images have been selected by CNN for their "Travel Photo of the Day" gallery. (my selected images are currently number 10 of Antigua, Guatemala & 23 in the French Quarter of New Orleans) http://www.cnn.com/2010/TRAVEL/03/01/photo.of.day.gallery/index.html

After I posted that on some forums that CNN chose my images as "Travel Photo of the Day", several folks emailed me to warn of CNN's terms and that I might have unknowingly given CNN rights I wasn't aware of.

I was fully aware of the terms and don't have a problem with them at all. Here's my last reply regarding this:

Yes, I'm aware of it and am fine with it. CNN gets you very good exposure and I only uploaded low-res images anyway. The rules are changing quickly and holding so tightly to copyright protection is becoming very futile in the digital age... that I'd rather trade some copyright control for more eyeballs looking at my stuff. The direction global media seems to be going appears to me that a larger audience/fan base trumps tight copyright control of your work. I still keep my hi-res stuff protected, and am very selective who I'm giving up some rights to.

How do you all feel about it in general?
