... boy am I pissed. Well, it loaded fine, dB migrated ok but now, as in version 1, when I go to open a layered tif it flattens the freakin image. The image in the database is still layered but no matter how I open it (whether opening directly to PS3 or exporting the master to the hard drive) it flattens.

That alone kills me on this update. Worked fine in 2. No problems whatsoever. But 3 the same damn problem is back that they had in 1. Way to go Apple. :D

Also, this thing is slow. It lags. My computer has more fire power than I need. Can work on 1Gb files in ps without it even breathing hard but Ap3 drags, lags and just dogs. My guess is all the new features in it (oh if you do update turn off the face recognition crap if you don't need it, man, that slows down everything!!!) that is was bound to work slower.

So, my suggestion is that anyone with 2 stay with it for a while till an update comes out.

These are my first impression after banging on it for a couple days.

Much sympathy Dave. I hate it when that sort of thing happens.
