Any one have information about cheap Drum Scan for around 500USD or below.

I don't believe such a thing exists. It is my understanding that drum scanners are WAY more expensive than that. I've never actually searched to find out how expensive, but everybody I know that needs a drum scan send it out to a lab.

They are also used to digitize conventional dental X-Rays. Some believe that the conventional X-Rays give better resolution than the newer digital sensiors, so they use the drum scanners afterwards on the plates. Consult the used dental equipment pages. I am sure that there are adapters to suit conventional negatives.

I know this thread is old, but let me ask different way, which is the cheapest drum scanner? I don't ask for a drum scanner about $200-500, but sure not all drum scanners are at the same prices and all are expensive for sure, but sure there is one could be a bit cheaper, for example That Hasselblad X1 is about $13000, so are all drum scanners are above $10000? Nothing for around $4000-7000? I would like to buy a used drum scanner from anywhere except ebay, so do you know where?

Why do you want a drum scanner?
There might be a small difference in quality to the more reasonable ones, but will you notice it?
Or are you working in formats you can't handle with other machines?

Because i want the highest quality i can get from my film negatives and slides and to print in larger sizes, 16x24" and up.

Ok, good reason. But then I would look at Imacon/Hasselblad to avoid a lot of hassle, if it can handle the formats you use.

I would like to get them if there is used and less than $5000 at least, i don't want to go above $4000-5000, even i didn't go with Nikon 9000 which is cheaper but not a drum scanner but better than flatbed scanners for film.
