Did a HD clone first to a throw away drive - upgraded my system and then did scans. No problem. Then updated to 10.6.2 and scanned again.

Going to do my main drive now that the test is OK.

I guess the problems most people has was maybe not realising that Nikon Scan is PowerPC compiled and one should install rosetta in Snow Leopard which is not installed by default now - though was in Tiger and Leopard previously.

So in any case - all works like a charm still. ;-)
