Congrats to you both.
I WAS going to go and then my daughter decided to come home for the weekend. Needless to say, I am hanging out at home with the family. I am sorry I missed the reception. I may still drive over to see the show sometime (2.5hr drive for me). I will certainly be in contact with Tracy and Mark when/if I make the trip.

Congratulations both of you, would love to see it in real life, but alas. Enjoy the experience. Is this your puddle to jump in Tracy?

Thank you to everyone. It was an interesting experience to say the least, both good and bad. The good was being surrounded by friends and strangers who got to see what I do. It was wonderfully interesting to hear peoples comments, and everyone really loved the play off of mine and Angela's images and the flow of how they were laid out.

The bad was dealing with a curator of a gallery who looks down her nose at photography as the lesser art form. Oh well, her loss.

Once again thank you to everyone for your support.

This is sadly increasingly more common in the fine art world. The trick is to create photographs that look like paintings and then print them on canvas ;) lol

So then why did the curator take in the expo? I've never understood that. I run into that a lot also. The trad art world has always looked down it's nose at the repetition photography offers. Of course those same people are the ones who lith their stuff have to death so the can get more sales. A ridiculous double standard. In the end I print 10 of each and that's it. I don't go out and print 500 liths of an oil painting.

Glad the show went off well and you had fun at the opening.

@Dave - The original curator that signed me on had to step aside because of family issues that prevented her from spending so much energy on the gallery. She did come to the reception though and loved it. :)
