I was really fortunate enough to be at a live interview of Kevin Cummings today. To be honest I didn't really know who he was until recently although I had seen loads of his images over the last few decades. Most people will have heard of the Manchester music scene that spawned the likes of The Buzzcocks, The Smiths, The Happy Mondays, Joy Division, New Order and not forgetting The Stone Roses. Kevin was fortunate enough to be around at the time all this was happening, as was I, but he was in with all the bands and working usually for the 'NME' music newspaper. He's a very talented photographer as you will see.
