These portraits could be pictured anywhere –the location is a mystery because of the blurred background. Celje itself is not revealed on the photographs. These pictures are not intended as a postcard of the city but exist to highlight the people of Celje. These images portray a declining species,ghosts disappearing with the town's old heart. Robert Hutinski's Celje portraits are a tribute to Celje and it's residents. His work has ensured that the memory of the people that lived and worked here well before the city was overrun with shopping centers is preserved forever. Celje is after all his city and the city itself is imprinted on his soul.

veoma interesantan uvod, pogotovo spominjanje "izumiruce vrste" ljudi. posto zivim u austriji i samo 1-2x godisnje idem u staru domovinu, svaka poseta je kao snimak jednog momenta, snimak vremena koje polako nestaje. mesta za koja su vezana secanja se ruse ili zamenjuju drugim sadrzajem, ideali su se odavno promenili, a ljudi koji predstavljaju ta vremena sve vise postaju egzoticna pojava. zbog toga me svakako interesuje Robertova izlozba u Celju i ako budem imao vremena svakako cu doci.

Sorry, I can't find a way of seeing the photos! Is there a link to an online gallery on that page? I clicked a lot of links but didn't get anywhere. . .
The Youtube thing is just annoying. What I did see on there looked great, so congratulations and best of luck with it Robert.
