I need some help!
3 days ago I upgrade my mac for MAC OSX 10.5.8. Since that time I am not able to make any uploads anywhere! It is just not possible anymore! Do have somebody the same experience? If yes what can be done?
I did not find anything in APPLE service for this!

Is this with Safari ?

If so, try installing Firefox, Chrome or opera and see if there is still a problem.

How does it look like?
Do you receive any system message?
After click on a submit button, do you see any activity of a browser (i.e. animated icon)?

Looks like a specific system bug, but can't believe they didn't catch it on tests, however 10.5.8. is quite new version - dated on 5/08/2009.

Or maybe this is high level of 1x rejection (joke of course).

From my side, I can only advice you to rollback to 10.5.7. and maybe for the future wait a bit longer with the newest versions of OS.

Maybe this tuto will help you a bit with rollback - http://forums.msiwind.net/mac/rollback-t13539.html

Lets see what other say.

Yes Robert. I had the some problems and my husbands' even worse after this update. Neither of us could get the update to fully install..or so it seemed. Actually, it had installed but the screen was stuck. After manual shutting down neither of us could get the computer to restart.

It has happened to mine first...and I spent hours following the instructions in the help files (from my husband's computer which at that time was still running) trying just about everything. I almost gave up ..but like magic, and not on the first try but on the 50th probably of of the options for holding down keys did work. It left a trail behind with notes..it was Kernal panic..does this sound familiar?

The next day my husband had the exact problem I had, but he called Apple. They worked him through many steps to restore his system and it worked fine for about a week. They did mention that the problem might return. This past Friday his system crashed completely. After hours with the Apple Support staff and many different kinds of interventions they had him reinstall Leopard. It did not work..it would not install. He called Apple again..we have a protection plan so they are picking up his i-Mac on Tuesday to install a new hard drive! They had no idea what the problem was but they thought it was a conflict with another program and with the update files became corrupted. We thought maybe Intego anti virus software may have conflicted..do you run this program?

I am keeping my fingers crossed that my computer continues to be okay ( I have Mac Pro Desktop) . CLEARLY there is something not right with this update Robert...because it would seem improbably if not impossible for both my husband, and I to have the same problem with the same update on two different computers - within 24 hours. We are stumped as to what happened. If you type in 'problems with Mac Leopard update 10.8.5' on the Google..we are not alone. :) People are experiencing many different kinds of issues...

I think if you call Apple, they should be able to help you. I hope your hard drive survives..I really do. :)

My best Phyllis

If you are on Mac and use Time Machine (as one should) it is relatively easy to go "back in time" to the previous OS, if you run into problems. I did not upgrade to 10.8.5 but have not heard of anyone having problems with it. I actually upgraded to Snow Leopard yesterday and things are incredibly zippy now, I just love it.
As Glen mentioned make sure you upgrade Safari also.
And if you install Snow Leopard (you really should) my Apple Store Genius suggested that you click on your Hardrive>Utilities>Disk Utility>Repair Disk Permissions.
Then you install upgrade and you should be good as new !
Cheers
