I write this to recommend the use of software LucisArt (http://www.lucisart.com/)
Once I get a good picture, I think how I can increase your creative effect, how can enhance the photo to make more impact. Most importantly, a photo is that it draws attention, if not, it is best to remove it, a photo can have a grain, not enough sharpness, but it must have impact. LucisArt used repeatedly or in combination with other methods of image processing to further expand the variety of artistic effects. In a short time and after some trial and error and changes the picture is more creative

José, I'd be curious how you use LucisArt. I downloaded the demo some time ago, but I didn't get a very good result; I suppose because I'm not sure how to use it to good effect.

This software doesn't have enough functions to control the editing process. I have testet many pictures without catching any satisfying results. It just works fine with a few of tones. For example bright brown (an overcoat) works fine. But blue(sky), green(forest) do really look bad and tired.

If you like to catch results with highcontrast and details, you can do it much better and realistic in photoshop.

I think used subtly it could work. If your images are anything to go by Jose. They work well, but the examples on the site are a bit weak imho. I think a bit of time spent in Photoshop and maybe Photomatix or somesuch could get you to a similar place but with much more control along the way. Thanks for the link anyway.

If you crank the blacks, the fill light and the recovery sliders in ACR or lightroom you can achieve the same result. The examples don't look very appealing to me, imo - "overcooked" tonemapping look isn't an appealing look
