At this moment in my life I like to take photographs and I also like not taking them. As shocking or contradictory as it may seem, I enjoy capturing the moment some times, and others I just let life flow: I become one with the moment.
My personal philosophy: "There is no point in stressing myself for the sake of taking all possible pictures I could in my lifetime. Taking pictures is an important part of a more important event taking place, namely 'LIFE'. So, when taking pictures, I will focus on that. When not taking pictures, I will focus on not-taking-pictures-but-doing-whatever-I-am-doing. Let's enjoy the slice of experiences we are given during this existence, 'cause we can't eat all the cake." Or as we say in my country "no se puede chiflar y comer pinole" (it is impossible to whistle and eat corn flour at the same time).
If you want to talk with me about photography I'd love to, if you want to talk with me about non-photography it's fine, if you want to talk with me about this ephemeral life, I'd be pleased to, and if you, after reading this, can enjoy life more than before, I will believe all this effort was worth it.-
