i was a chemist. now i cook breakfast for idiots for a living and i love it. dont ask why...its beyond me. i have been deeply in love with art for as long as i can remember. a combination of complacency and mediocre talent led me to photography. i have been hacking away at it for about six years now. it seems to keep my mind from lingering on the inevitable. my choice of nihlistic bohemian asceticism as a lifestyle coupled with my (relatively) profuse spending on drugs and alcohol keeps me from acquiring any "professional" equipment. consequently, it all falls under the heading of "modest"...most people would call it junk. i find that this matters very little with the proper amount of perseverance. i pray that i never become so good at photography that i stop trying to improve.
