I'm a Dutch nature/wildlife photographer who fell in love with polar area's. During my study biology I specialized in ecology, which gives me a better understanding of relations in nature. During my study I spent half a year on the Arctic archipelago of Spitsbergen and I've returned almost every summer since.
I feel very privileged being able to come to beautiful places like this regularly and with my pictures I want to share these experiences and create awareness for these fragile habitats. Since 2010 I not only take pictures, but also make short movies.
