Originally from Wales I now reside in the Royal County of Berkshire, England. Photography and photographs have always held an interest for me and I have been taking photos since the early 60s. It was not until the mid 70s that I purchased my first SLR - A Mamiya DSX1000B with a 55mm f1.4 and 135 f2.8 lens. This really opened my eyes, however a girl came along and my photographic life slowed down a lot! Now, of course, I am free from all ties (marriage and work!) so I spend a lot of time with my cameras and lenses. I love taking portraits but it seems only my 3 grandchildren and my daughter like to pose for me! I take photos of what I like and not what the masses demand. Photography has made me look at everything I see in such a different way, it was like having a blindfold removed and seeing again after a long period in the dark.
