I am an amateur photographer from the Manchester area in the UK. Only a recent convert to a digital SLR in 2010, but I started taking photographs when I was about 8yrs with very basic 2 1/4" film cameras. Most of my life photography has been about mainly about capturing family moments and holidays with a little creative work here and there. But now I am trying to be more creative and really enjoy the whole process from concept to final work.

I joined 1x not only to try and get work published on 1x, but also for the excellent critique to find out where I can improve.
