I am a 10-year-old little kid, cleverly disguised as a woman of a certain age ... a very happily married photography-digital-art-fanatic-woman of a certain age, that is.

My images are based on the photographs I capture, mostly with the Nikon D300. Although my primary goal will always be to capture that perfect shot straight out of the camera, I dearly love tinkering around in Photoshop and other image editing programs. I don't have one particular style and probably never will. I'm pretty much all over the place with what catches my interest; still experimenting, still loving every minute behind the camera and still believing in the magic.

Photo equipment
Most of the photographic images in my portfolios were taken with the Nikon D300, though older images will usually have been taken with the Nikon D40x. My lenses are an 18-135mm, a 55-200mm VR, a 70-300mm VR, an 18-200mm VR, a 105mm vr and a 60mm Macro, all Nikkor/Nikons; plus a 10-20mm wide angle Sigma and a 150-500mm OS Sigma. I use Promaster 12mm, 20mm and 36mm extension tubes when I want to get really up close and personal with my subjects. I regularly shoot with UV, CP and Cokin ND Grad filters, and am enjoying learning to shoot infra red. I use a ball-head Manfrotto tripod when I have to. Nikon SB400 and the Nikon SB900 speedlights are the final part of my equipment.
