During a trip to France( after the exam taken at the end of Lyceum) I re-discovered Photography using a Kodak Pocket Instantmatic that my grandparents presented to me a long before: it was a gift for my Confirmation(about 1967). I bought my first reflex that year in 1975 after the trip to France. That reflex it is still in good health as well as the Kodak Pocket. At University I came in contact with members of a camera club and then with the Italian (FIAF) and International Federation of Photography(FIAP). I am still a member of FIAP. Meanwhile I attended to a lot of Domestic and International Photo Contests. In 2009 I got the title of AFIAP. I still work using BW films processed and printed in my own dark-room. My favourite themes are Landscapes, Portraits and Sport/Action. I am a biologist; when I ended exams at University I spent three years at National Research Council (Electron Microscopy Lab). Interesting experience about Scientific Photography. After that I have worked as free-lance for different companies dealing with Instruments & Reagents for research laboratories.
