To be able to uncover the patterns in the world through the eye is what guides my photography. In plainer words, to see the overlooked.

Patterns are not limited to repetitive shapes or abstractions. They can be found in any and all the subjects, even if they do not appear obvious at first. Patterns which concern me includes the man-made and natural motive, not motif, which manifests in our immediate environment. They answer why things are the way they are.

This is the story that photography can tell to the keenest listeners. I believe the underlying pattern across the broad spectrum of photography is what makes this art form so appealing.

Like the golden ratio, a photograph reveals the patterns of the world, but leaves the understanding to the audience.
