I became interested in photography in the late 1970s and, during the 1980s, photography was my first love. I used to specialise in high-grain, moody colour photographs with which I had one or two successes in inter-club competition.

My interest in photography waned during the 1990s but was rekindled during a brief trip to South Africa in the autumn of 2005. Having discovered the delights of digital imaging, my love of the hobby is greater than ever. Indeed, my wife thinks it an almost overwhelming passion. . . :-) Ive still to find my new niche, although I find myself drawn more and more to street and documentary photography.

Unfortunately, in 2007 & 2008, I did not have the time to take as many photographs as I would have liked and had to limit my interest to a few sneaked hours on OE and elsewhere. So far, 2009 has been much the same. I do trust that one day soon, Ill be able to return to being an active member of 1x (as I see OE is now called!).
