As shown in my website, www.digitaleclecticimages.com, I love to explore the world through my lens and especially enjoy the challenge involved in composition. I instinctively look for structural elements that draw my eye into the picture. I particularly like natural settings that contain a human element, but not necessarily people.

I photograph outdoors almost exclusively. I prefer natural light and generally do not use flash. I employ filters sparingly, most often using a polarizer or graduated neutral density filter. I went entirely digital a few years ago and feel that it has revitalized my photography. I am especially pleased that digital photography, along with major improvements in computer technology and the availability of excellent photo printers, has put the entire photographic cycle, from capturing images to printing and framing them, entirely in my hands.

Overall, I enjoy creating fine art images that invite the eye of the onlooker to share my personal vision.
