As an artist who has worked in illustration and watercolor since childhood, I have discovered that photography is the medium that inspires me the most.

I love the intimacy and creativity of engaging with people, nature, and the material world. It thrills me to capture a landscape at dawn, the dewy petals of a flower, the personality and emotion of people, and the joy of the moment. Whatever project I am working on completely captivates me in a way that other art forms have never done.

I enjoy photographing with an ultrawide perspective and I strive to capture things the way I was seeing and feeling at the time I took the picture.

My first magazine cover was in Portland Magazine's August 2008 issue. Popular Photography Magazine, Old House Journal, Yankee Magazine, Maine Food & Lifestyle, and England's Digital Camera Magazine. I regularly provide images for StockFood - The Food Image Agency and Arcangel, a book and CD cover stock agency based in Spain.
