ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Carlos David (pronounced "Da'veed") was born in Portugal with a European sensitivity to light and form.
Having developed a deep fascination with freezing water, time and beauty, he took up photography at an
early age answering the need to crystallize on paper what his eyes had experienced.

EXTERIOR NUDES:
For his exterior nudes he gravitates towards simple lines and shadows that go beyond seeing women
as simple objects of desire and attempting to make the connection to how the human form can accept
and embrace the wilderness beyond the strict confines of our comfortable urban lives.

In exploring rapidly shrinking wild spaces and their connection to our lives, he shows us how humanity is
truly but a small piece of a much bigger puzzle. He lingers just long enough to shed some light on what
so often goes unnoticed, unseen and forgotten.

Most importantly of all Carlos David is a work in progress. Stay tuned, the best is yet to come.
