About me
I'm a student of history and an aspiring photographer. I'm an audio engineer by trade. I've been into photography for many years and began shooting with a DSLR about two years ago. Photography is one of the ways I choose to express myself in life. I see limitations in my words, music, art, and photography. Embracing a new medium is for me a chance to express what I cannot in other areas in my life. Expressing one's self through artistic means is not romantic and unrealistic. After studying ancient and modern languages I see how limited we are in an area that most would consider to be the truest and most practical mode of expression -- our voice and writing. Just as different interpreters will take drastically different meanings from our words, so to will viewers of our art decipher meaning. Is any interpretation any less valid than another? Who will be the arbiter?
